There are a few aspects of TicketNetwork that have caused it to drop down in the ratings. While the pricing is relatively average, shipping and service charges are on the expensive side. As well, their concert ticket selection isn’t as robust as our top rated sites which provide tickets to nearly 300,000 events worldwide. These problems make TicketNetwork one of the lower choices in the bunch. They do, however, have one of the cheapest fee to sell costs, a benefit if you’re looking to sell tickets.
While Ticket Network isn’t the most expensive site out there, when it comes to service charges and shipping fees, it’s definitely more expensive than average. You can expect a 17% rate for service charges and $15 for shipping. One of the site’s highlights, however, is the fee to sell, which is 3%, making TicketNetwork one of the cheapest sites from which to sell your tickets. Presently TicketNetwork has 7 million tickets available for purchase to over 80,000 events; however, their selection of concert tickets is not as broad as our top sites, some of which sell millions of tickets a year to hundreds of thousands of events.
TicketNetwork is missing some features that it could really use, like the ability for users to print their own tickets. Gift cards or gift certificates are also not available for purchase through TicketNetwork. On the upside, TicketNetwork does have their concert tickets organized into categories, including Pop & Rock, R&B, Country, Alternative, Hard Rock, Jazz & Blues, Rap & HipHop, and World music.
While the initial interface is a little confusing, the buying process is fairly similar to other ticket sites.
As far as security of your information goes, TicketNetwork has obtained an EV SSL certification, which is designed to provide an added level of security when purchasing something online.
TicketNetwork has an FAQ section with helpful and relevant information at the top of each ticket listing page. You can also contact TicketNetwork through phone and email; however, we found they weren’t very helpful in answering our questions.
Overall, we give TicketNetwork one thumb up, and one thumb down. While it does offer good security and baseline ticket prices, it lacks in its concert ticket selection and sits on the high end in regards to shipping costs and service charges.
