TicketsNow doesn’t own or stock the tickets you are buying. Third party ticket brokers sell tickets through TicketsNow. Prices are basically determined by how popular a concert is expected to be and how much the ticket brokers want to charge. Of course, this means that popular concert tickets will be significantly higher than face value. And while we found the original listing prices to be fairly competitive to tickets sold elsewhere on the market, after service fees, they are usually on the high end.

The service fee for tickets sold through TicketsNow is 15% of the ticket listing price. This 15% fee is both for buyers and sellers. So, if a ticket is listed and sells for $100, the end ticket price will actually be $115 for the buyer. The 15% ($15) is taken from the seller, who would receive $85. This leaves TicketsNow with $30 for their services and convenience.

Features:  

TicketsNow has a variety of features and options for both buyers and sellers. One nice feature is the ability to purchase gift cards (for $25, $50, $100, or $500).

As mentioned earlier, TicketsNow does not own the tickets, and doesn’t purchase tickets outright from individual sellers. The standard way of selling through TicketsNow is by listing your tickets and being charged a 15% consignment fee if/when they sell. Another option is to sell your tickets to another broker (who will then list them through TicketsNow). TicketsNow recommends Premium Inventory as a preferred ticket broker to sell directly to. While this option does ensure payment and eliminates the hassle of trying to sell the tickets yourself, Premium Inventory typically only pays 50-75% of the retail price for the tickets. And of course, they’re only going to buy tickets they are confident they can sell elsewhere for a profit.
