TicketsToGo at first seems to be a pretty normal ticket site, despite the fact that it looks horribly outdated. But bad design aside, there are several flaws that drag TicketsToGo down near the bottom of the list. Things like a lack of features, a confusing interface and a limited selection of tickets make TicketsToGo not nearly as good a choice as the top sites, TicketMaster, StubHub and TicketsNow.
One of the ironies of TicketsToGo being so far down in the rankings is that it actually has one of the cheapest service charges in this review. You’ll be charged 6% of whatever you pay for the tickets you buy. The shipping fees on the other hand are on the high side compared to many other companies, coming in at $18.
The features on TicketsToGo are mediocre at best. You can’t print your own tickets, one of our absolute favorite features because it makes the ticket buying process so much easier. And while you can sell your tickets on the TicketsToGo market, you can’t auction them off. One of the saving graces of the TicketsToGo Concert Tickets site is the selection of music covered on the site. You can find tickets for all the major music genres.
The navigation on TicketsToGo seems to be very similar to other tickets sites. You select the musical group that you want to see, and the ticket listings come up. Except that sometimes, you are directed to weird informational or news pages that are related to the music group in question. It’s a weird detour and very frustrating when it happens because we’ve come here to get tickets, not read articles.
The TicketsToGo site is relatively reliable. The site is McAfee Secure certified; the TicketsToGo company is a member of the National Association of Ticket Brokers, and is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.
There are several ways of getting help from TicketsToGo, all of them standard. There is a FAQ for common questions and problems, and you can contact the company through both phone and email if you need more specific answers.
When all is said and done, TicketsToGo can’t be classified as anything more than mediocre. The features are disappointing and the site isn’t nearly as easy to use as some other ticket sites.
